1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Lessnz website or any related services (collectively, "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access the Service.

2. Beta Program

Lessnz is currently in private beta. By joining our waitlist or participating in the beta program, you acknowledge that:

• The Service is provided for evaluation and feedback purposes
• Features, functionality, and pricing are subject to change without notice
• No service level agreement (SLA) or uptime guarantee applies during the beta period
• The Service may be interrupted, modified, or discontinued at any time
• Beta access does not guarantee access to the final product or any particular pricing tier

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with Lessnz, you agree to:

• Maintain only one account per person
• Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately at support@lessnz.com of any unauthorised access to your account
• Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

Lessnz reserves the right to refuse registration or cancel accounts at our sole discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Scrape, copy, or reproduce any part of the Service without our express written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Share your account access with unauthorised parties
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems
• Transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, or otherwise objectionable

5. Intellectual Property

The Lessnz platform, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Lessnz and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written consent.

Users retain full ownership of any content they upload or create on the platform, including practice logs, recordings, and teaching materials. By uploading content, you grant Lessnz a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Termination

Either party may terminate access to the Service at any time:

• By Lessnz: We may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms of Service
• By You: You may cancel your participation at any time by contacting us at support@lessnz.com

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. As beta software, Lessnz expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Guarantees of uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation
• Guarantees that defects will be corrected

No advice or information obtained from Lessnz, whether oral or written, shall create any warranty not expressly stated in these Terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lessnz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. During the free beta period, Lessnz's total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Lessnz in the twelve months preceding the claim — which, during the free beta, is zero (NZD $0.00).

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Zealand.
